Paralympic soccer consists of adapted physical disability. This sport is governed by the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA). Ans played with modified FIFA rules. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympics was postponed and resumed from 24th August to 5th September 2021.

This soccer sport has been starting since 2004 in Athens. Previous season at the Rio 2016 Summer Paralympics, Brazil was the champions (4th time), where Iran and Argentina were runners-up and third-place respectively.

Tokyo 2020 Summer Soccer Paralympics Qualified Teams
There will be 8 male teams who will compete in the competition. Each team must have a maximum of fifteen squad members: eight outfield players, two goalkeepers with the other members being one guide, one coach with an assistant coach, along a doctor and physiotherapist.
