U.S. Open Golf Past Winners & Runners-up List

The annual U.S. Open golf tournament has been organized since 1895. It is governed by the United States Golf Association (USGA).

Due to World War I and World War II, it was not took place from 1917 to 1918 and from 1942 to 1945. Additionally, the 2020 US Open was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Horace Rawlins was the first winner of this tournament, which was held at Newport Country Club, Newport, Rhode Island, England.

There have four golfers who have earned 4-time US Open titles equally – Willie Anderson, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, and Jack Nicklaus. Tiger Woods & Hale Irwin have got three times winner titles in a different editions.
