The 5th international professional baseball tournament, the 2023 World Baseball Classic (WBC) will begin from the 8th to 21st March 2023 in three host countries like Japan, Taiwan, and the United States. In this tournament, 20 teams will participate from four regions as Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
The previous edition was held in four countries like Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and the United States in 2017. And the United States won the 1st title championship whereas Puerto Rico got the runners-up title and Japan got third place.

However, at this coming tournament, 20 teams will play from 4 groups, and every group has 5 teams that will play four games in the 1st round. Out of 20, 8 teams will qualify for the next Quarterfinals round.
