The Winnipeg Jets are an American professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The team is owned by True North Sports and Entertainment. Home games are played at Canada Life Centre, which opened in 1999 as the IcePlex. They have won one division championship in 2006-07.
