Manchester United Football Club is a professional football club, established in 1878, based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. They compete in the Premier League. This year 2022-2023 season is the 31st season in the Premier League and the 48th consecutive season in the top flight of English football.
The Man United nicknamed “the Red Devils”, the club was founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, changed its name to Manchester United in 1902, and moved to its current stadium, Old Trafford, in 1910.

In May 2005, Malcolm Glazer purchased the 28.7 percent stake held by McManus and Magnier, thus acquiring a controlling interest through his investment vehicle Red Football Ltd in a highly leveraged takeover valuing the club at approximately £800 million (then approx. $1.5 billion).
Over the period, Manchester United Football Club earned lots of fans and supporters. They won 20 titles of the First Division/Premier League in 1907–08, 1910–11, 1951–52, 1955–56, 1956–57, 1964–65, 1966–67, 1992–93, 1993–94, 1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2012–13.
Man Utd. also won 12 titles of FA Cup in 1908–09, 1947–48, 1962–63, 1976–77, 1982–83, 1984–85, 1989–90, 1993–94, 1995–96, 1998–99, 2003–04, 2015–16 seasons. Man United also have won 7 titles of the Football League Cup/EFL Cup in 1991–92, 2005–06, 2008–09, 2009–10, and 2016–17 seasons.

This 2022-23 season has been scheduled from 5th August 2022 to 28th May 2023. The club will participate in the Premier League, the EFL Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Cup. This is the club’s first season since 2013–14 without Chevrolet as the main shirt sponsor; they were replaced by software company TeamViewer.
According to Premier League history and their fanbase over the period, Manchester United has several rivals – Leeds United, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool. They won by 5-1 in their first match against Leeds United.
