Buffalo Sabres was founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Bisons, playing at the Memorial Auditorium. The franchise joined the NHL in the 1970-71 season and became known as the Sabres two years later. The team won three titles of conference championships in 1974–75, 1979–80 & 1998–99 seasons.

In the last season of 2020-21, they didn’t qualify for the playoffs round. But in the coming NHL 2021-22 season, they want to secure playoffs games.

The NHL 2021/2022 season will start on 12th October to July 2022. And the Sabres will play their very first game from 14th October 2021. Over the period and their fanbase, they have two rival teams (Boston Bruins & New Jersey Devils) in NHL.

The Sabres will meet four times against the Bruins. 1st meet will be held on 22nd October 2021 at KeyBank Center. And the rest of the three meets will be held on 24th Nov, 1st Jan 2022 & 28th April 2022.

Another rivalry with New Jersey Devils – they will fight 3-game. The first match will happen on 23rd October 2021 at Prudential Center. And the rest of the two games will be held on 29th December & 21st April 2022.
