The 1912 Summer Olympic tournament was scheduled from 6th to 22nd July in Stockholm, Sweden. It was opened by King Gustaf V (He was the king of Sweden). 12 sports venues were used and Stockholms Olympiastadion stadium was the main venue of that season.

From the 28 nations, 2,406 athletics including 2,359 men & 47 women participated in 102 events in 14 sports. Egypt, Iceland, Portugal, Serbia, Japan & Chile were the first to appear in the Olympic Games.
