The international basketball tournament the European Basketball Championship is commonly known as EuroBasket governed by FIBA Europe. This competition has been held since 1935 and the inaugural edition was held in Switzerland, Latvia won the championship title over Spain.
The last edition of this event was held in four host countries such as Finland, Israel, Romania, and Turkey 2017. Slovenia won the championship title over Serbia with a score of 93–85. At that event, Spain and Russia got third place and fourth place respectively.
The Soviet Union ranked in the top position of this event history 14th times won the titles. Yugoslavia got 2nd position with 8th times won, Spain and Lithuania got 3 times championship titles on that.
FIBA 2022 EuroBasket TV Schedule & Fixture
The 41st edition of FIBA 2022 EuroBasket will take place 1–18 September 2022 in four countries as Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany.
In total 24 teams will participate in four groups at 5 different venues such as Mercedes-Benz Arena (Berlin), Lanxess Arena (Cologne), Mediolanum Forum (Milan), and O2 Arena (Prague), and Tbilisi Arena (Tbilisi).
