The organizing body CONMEBOL took a decision that the Copa América Femenina (the main competition in women’s association football between national teams of the CONMEBOL) tournament would be held every two years instead of every four years in December 2020.
The 9th edition of the 2022 Copa América Femenina will take place from 8th – 30th July 2022 in Colombia in three venues – Estadio Centenario, Estadio Alfonso López and Estadio Olímpico Pascual Guerrero.
In the previous edition which was held in Chile in 2018 and Brazil won their 7th title in the Copa América Femenina.

The very first match will happen between Colombia and Paraguay on 8th July 2022 at Estadio Olímpico Pascual Guerrero at 16:00. And this match will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2 and fuboTV. On the same day, the 2nd match will play between Bolivia and Ecuador at 19:00.
