The Berlin 1936 Summer Olympic Games held from 1st August to 16th August at Olympiastadion stadium. 49 nations participated there with 3,963 athletes. The season was opened by Germany’s chancellor Adolf Hitler of that time.

In 19 sports events had scheduled with 129 events in total. Though the United States, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, and the Netherlands wanted to boycott that season because of that tournament hosted by the Nazi regime.

Germany won the most medals at the 1936 Olympics with 33 gold medals, 26 silver medals and 30 bronze medals. The United States was in the 2nd position ranked with 24 gold medals, 20 silver medals and 12 bronze medals. And Hungary was the 3rd position ranked on the medal table with 10 gold medals, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals.

Team Sports Result at the Berlin 1936 Summer Olympic Games

In the team sports like football, Italy was the champions, Austria was the runners-up and Norway took 3rd place on that. From the basketball event, United States won the championship, Canada was the runners-up team and Mexico took 3rd place.
