The NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament, commonly known as March Madness, is a single-elimination college basketball tournament held annually in the United States.
The tournament features 68 teams from Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and is one of the most popular sporting events in the country.
The tournament typically takes place over three weeks in March and early April and culminates with the Final Four, which features the four remaining teams and determines the national champion.
The NCAA tournament has a long and storied history, with many iconic moments and legendary players contributing to its status as a beloved American sports tradition.
2023 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament TV Schedule
The 84th annual edition of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) division 1 men’s tournament will begin on 14th March 2023 and the final championship game will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on 3rd April 2023.
In total 68 teams will participate in this tournament, and on that eight teams (the four-lowest seeded automatic qualifiers and the four lowest-seeded at-large teams) shall play in the First Four. The winners of these games will advance to the main bracket of the tournament.
