The major horse international championship, The 2022 FEI World Equestrian Games will be held from 6 to 14th August 2022 in Herning, Denmark.
Every four years this tournament has been organized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) since 1990. Four discipline events have been scheduled in every edition.

In the previous edition in 2018, 702 athletes had participated from 79 nations. Germany ranked 1st on madel table with 6 gold medals, Netherlands got 5 gold medals and Great Britain took 4 gold medals on that.
