The female soccer U-17 tournament, FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup begins on 11–30 October 2022 in three host cities such as Bhubaneswar, Margao, and Navi Mumbai in India.

It held its first edition in 2008 in New Zealand, that tournament North Korea won the championship title and the United States, runner-up.

In the last edition which was held in 2018 in Uruguay, Spain was championed where Mexico got the runner-up team scoring 2-1. In that tournament, Spanish footballer ClΓ udia Pina got the golden ball and Ghanaian star Mukarama Abdulai got the golden shoe award.

However, this 7th edition will be scheduled with 16 teams from 6 confederations. Those teams split into four groups. Each group has four teams that will play three games on the group stage.
