2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Schedule

The quadrennial women’s basketball sport event that governed by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has been organized since 1953. In the inaugural edition, the United States won the championship title and Chile got the runner-up title.

In the last edition that was held in Spain in 2018, the United States won the championship over Australia. Spain and Belgium got third place and fourth place respectively.

Till now, the United States won 10 times the championship, the Soviet Union got 6 times championship, and Australia and Brazil took the championship title for once.

2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup TV Schedule & Fixture

In the coming month of September, the 19th edition of the 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup will take place from 22nd September to 1st October 2022 in Sydney, Australia.

12 teams will play in two groups at two venues (Sydney Super Dome & State Sports Centre).
