Mutli-sport event, The World Games are here.
After 4-year, this tournament will take place from 7th to 17th July 2022 in in Birmingham, Alabama, United States of America. The World Games are governed by the International World Games Association, under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. This year games will feature 30 sports in 54 disciplines across at 30 venues.

World Games 2022 Schedule, Fixture & Calendar
Around 3,600 athletes will participate from 100+ countries. This is the first time that drone racing, canoe marathon, breaking, women’s fistball, kickboxing, and parkour have been included in the World Games as official sports.
In the last edition in 2017, USA got 9th position on the medal table with 7 gold, 10 silver and 5 bronze medals. On the other hand, Russia was the #1 in the medal table, earned 28 gold, 21 silver and 14 bronze medals. But in this 2022 edition, athletes from Russia (62) along with Belarus (11) were banned from the 2022 World Games because of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
