Watford Football Club is an English professional football club, established in 1881 as Watford Rovers later changed their name, based in Watford, Hertfordshire. They compete in the top tier of English football of the Premier League.
Vicarage Road is the home ground which is 22,200 capacity. Gino Pozzo, an Italian businessman is the owner of the club and Scott Duxbury is playing the chairman of it.
Currently, Francisco Javier Muñoz Llompart, known as Xisco who is a former Spanish football player, is playing the role of head coach of the Watford F.C.
They have won the play-off winners of the First Division in the 1998-99 season. Also, in the 2005-06 season, Walford titled play-off winners in the League Championship. Additionally, they have titled champions once in Second Division, Third Division & Fourth Division over the period.
They have lots of struggles in their history, but from 2015 to 2020, reaching the 2019 FA Cup Final, their second FA Cup Final. In April 2021, Watford were promoted back into the Premier League having spent just one season in the Championship.
