The 2nd Summer Olympic Games scheduled from 14th May to 28th October in Paris, France. There had no opening and closing ceremony were held and 14 venues were used in that season. This multi-sport tournament organized with 95 events in 19 sports.

From the 28 nations, 997 athletes participated including 975 men & 22 women. Around 13 new sports added on. Swimming and water polo were considered as two single disciplines of aquatics events. Helen Barbey, a sailor, won the first women’s gold medalist in Olympic Games.

The host country France was ranked in 1st position with 29 gold medals, 44 silver medals and 39 bronze medals on the medal table.

After that, United States ranked in 2nd position with 19 gold medals, 14 silver medals and 15 bronze medals. And Great Britain ranked in 3rd position with 16 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 9 bronze medals.

Team Sports Result at the Paris 1900 Summer Olympic Games

For the 1st time, Cricket sport appeared in the 2nd season of the Summer Olympic Games. One match played between two teams Great Britain and France. Great Britain was won by 158 runs.

From the football sport event, Great Britain earned the champions title whereas host county France was the runners-up team and Belgium took 3rd-place on that 1900 Summer Olympics.

France earned the champion title from the Rugby Union, whereas Germany was the runners-up team. And Great Britain earned the 3rd-place.
