Arsenal Football Club is a professional football club, which is established in 1886, based in Islington, London, England. Arsenal plays in the Premier League, the top flight of English football.
Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, American sports, and entertainment holding company is the owner and Mikel Arteta is the current manager of the club. Their home ground name is Emirates Stadium that is around 60,704 attending capacity.
Arsenal was the first club from the South of England to join the Football League in 1893, and they reached the First Division in 1904. Relegated only once, in 1913, they continue the longest streak in the top division and have won the second-most top-flight matches in English football history.
The club has won 13 league titles (including one unbeaten title) in 1930–31, 1932–33, 1933–34, 1934–35, 1937–38, 1947–48, 1952–53, 1970–71, 1988–89, 1990–91, 1997–98, 2001–02, 2003–04 seasons, a record 14 FA Cups, two League Cups in 1986–87, 1992–93, 16 FA Community Shields, the League Centenary Trophy, one European Cup Winners’ Cup, and one Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.
Arsenal finished nineth in their Premier League last 2021-22 season, and following eliminations from the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the UEFA Europa League, they failed to qualify for European competitions for the first time since the 1994–95 season.
