The first time women’s cricket sport will be held from 29 July to 7th August 2022 at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
The matches will be played under the Twenty20 format and there will only be a women’s tournament.

Total 8 teams will participate in this event in two groups. Each team will play three matches against its own group’s teams.
The whole cricket event will be broadcast on BBC, Sky Sports, SuperSports, Sony TV, and Seven Network.
